We spent a week in this lovely Golf Villa. We’ve been renting Kapalua Bay and Ridge Villas for decades. However, this was the first time in a Golf Villa. We’ve always had larger units in the past. But the great layout of this unit and the size of the rooms made this very comfortable and more than adequate for the two of us. The interior of this villa is tasteful and comfortably furnished. The colors are light, warm and relaxing. The furnishings are not the cheap, uncomfortable furnishings that are often found in rental condos. The furnishings in this villa are all top quality, tasteful and thoughtfully chosen. They have a definite tropical theme. But without the “Hawaiian kitch” that is so common in many rentals. The usual tub/shower combo that is normally in the master bath has been replaced with a large, beautiful double shower. We loved it! The appliances are all top quality. The condo has been completely updated with marble and top of the line appliances. The kitchen was well stocked, making it easy for us to make breakfast each morning. As well as a full size, stackable washer/dryer in the guest bathroom. The king sized bed in the master is very comfortable. There are large screen tv’s and dvd players in both the living room and the bedroom. The sound system on the living room tv was fabulous. The tv remotes were a bit cumbersome. But we managed with minimal frustration. Not a huge issue. There is a table with 4 chairs and 2 chairs with a side table on the large lanai. Breakfasts on the lanai were heavenly. The lanai has a beautiful view towards the ocean and Molokai. The location is very quiet. There was some remodeling noise during the daytime from the unit below. But, it was not a big deal. The construction noises ended by 5pm each day. And there was no construction over the weekend. If you’re not wanting stairs, this is a perfect unit. It’s on one level with assigned, covered parking next to the door. Dave was easy to work with and met us at the unit when we arrived. He showed us around and had left restaurant suggestions for the Kapalua restaurants which were helpful. Everything was perfect during our stay, so we never needed to contact him during our stay. But, he assured us that he was just a phone call away if we needed anything. We would definitely stay in this lovely condo again.

We really enjoyed our experience here. The bed was ridiculously comfortable, the kitchen came very well stocked and was a lifesaver in the mornings – fresh coffee and homemade breakfast so we didn’t have to mess with going out. We loved that they had so much beach stuff available to us for free – the beach umbrella was invaluable, the towels and sunscreen super helpful also. Great parking, very quiet, highly recommend for couples or family with 1-2 kids.

What an absolutely awesome vacation!!! Generally my family and I tend to go for the all inclusive type vacation when we want to relax. So renting a villa, we were a bit skeptical about cooking our own meals and cleaning. However the way the villa was set up and our location to the pool and grill, I’m not sure we would do an all inclusive any time soon. We really enjoyed grilling while our girls swam right beside us and then we were all able to eat together poolside. Not to mention having breakfast on our lanai each morning whenever we wanted and not having to get the whole family up and ready to get to a buffet in time.

Being our very first time in Hawaii we found the location to be ideal. We were so close to great beaches to snorkel at as well as go into Lahaina for some Local Boys shaved ice! Also very close to the blow holes. The closest beach was a mere 10 minute walk through the beautiful resort. The General store on the resort had pretty much everything and anything one would need.

The villa itself that we stayed in was great. No complaints! The kitchen had stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops and was equipped with everything we needed and then some. The villa was spacious, the lanai had a beautiful view of the golf course and ocean. A huge bonus was the ensuite bathroom with the double shower heads! The pictures just don’t do justice.

Big shout out to Dave from Platinum Maui Vacations for making renting this villa so easy. Our flight didn’t land until 9:30 pm so by the time we got to Kapalua it was 11:30pm. Dave met up with us to give us the keys and any information we required. He was great!!!

Our stay was great – we enjoyed watching the whales from the lanai – the view is truly spectacular. For a couple the place is very spacious with all your needs covered. We really enjoyed having all of the beach amenities – chairs, umbrella and a fabulous cooler with wheels! If you are creative the kitchen is stocked with most of what you need. It would be fabulous if the owners could stock with a few more pantry basics, proper wine glasses, etc. All in all a great stay that felt like home for the week!

We had a terrific two weeks in Maui and Dave made it right. We stayed in two Kapalua Villas during our stay. This unit and another that Dave made available for about one half of our nights. This unit is a very nice unit with a street level entry. It has a very new kitchen and much of the remainder of the unit has been upgraded. Dave contacted us prior to our trip to let us know that there was construction going on in the unit above and it might be noisy for the second week. Dave offered multiple options to us including a full refund. We chose to move to another unit that Dave had available for the second week of our stay. Dave also refunded two nights rent for the inconvenience. The second unit was on the second floor with a great view of the golf course. It was a fully upgraded delight. Thanks Dave!

We’ve stayed at the Kapalua Villas several times and this will be our preferred villa next year. It’s perfect for us–great layout, modern look and feel, super clean, comfortable bed, and beautiful sunset views! Dave was great throughout the entire experience. Dave, the property manager, was very promoted with communications. He even provided grocery stocking service for a nominal fee prior to our arrival. This was convenient since we arrived late. We had stayed in a villa before so we knew how quiet and convenient things are. Having nice beach towels and other amenities were a plus. Great stay!
